A Cat Daddy is Born
Hi there, I’m Chad! For as long as I can remember, I have had a special relationship with animals.
I’m always the person at the party who the dogs immediately run up to and greet. So many times have I heard how someone’s cat “never acts like this with strangers” that I’ve long lost count. And wherever I go, wild animals are chomping at the bit to introduce themselves.
So you might be surprised to learn that I didn’t have many positive interactions with pets growing up. It wasn’t until my late twenties that I begrudgingly agreed to adopt my first cat, Gigasaurus (AKA “Jigga”), who ultimately changed my life and made me the crazy cat dad that I am today. Oh, the things we do for love…
Our Mission
The primary objective of The Cat Chaddy is to save the lives of 1M+ cats.
We will accomplish this through various activities and community outreach that will evolve over time. This includes: education, volunteering, fundraising, TNR, financial contributions to various animal welfare organizations, and of course, fostering / adopting rescues.
One of our core beliefs is that every being on this planet is special, and deserves to be treated with respect, dignity, and compassion. Although our focus is primarily on cats, we feel just as strongly about every animal, regardless of its species.
Our Promise
We promise to only promote products that we personally use (or have used) from brands that we trust. If you are reading this then you are already a part of our extended family. The health, safety, and welfare of your pet is our number one priority.

If your pet is suddenly acting strange or their behavior has abruptly changed for seemingly no reason, it is best to first consult with a licensed veterinarian to ensure that there are no underlying health problems. Cats are notoriously great at hiding their ailments, an evolutionary necessity, and so illness and injury should always be ruled out first before proceeding to things like behavior and/or environmental modification.
